US and their environmental policies

This is one of the many reasons why I dislike the Bush administration. While I suppose abortion and same-sex marriages can be a sensitive religious issue, and maybe foreign relations policies (Iraq war, relations with China/Canada) can be good or bad depending on your viewpoint, there is NO EXCUSE for not being environmentally friendly.

Being environmentally responsible is something all nations should aspire to, especially a superpower such as the states, which incidentally, is responsible for most of the pollution that come from industrialized nations. Clinton was so much better...
